The table below sets out the rule on each field of the M88 form. If the form shows a different error, follow the message on screen.

Usernames generally can't be changed once created. Leave your phone number and birth year out of it so it is harder to guess.

The name field causes the costliest mistakes

This field has no effect on logging in or placing bets, so people rush it. The trouble only shows at the first withdrawal.

With or without Vietnamese accents

Type your name exactly as your bank prints it, since payouts are checked against that record. Vietnamese banks print names in capitals without accents, for example NGUYEN VAN AN, and that is the safest form for this field.

Why a wrong name blocks withdrawals

M88 pays out only to a bank account carrying the player's name. When the two differ, the withdrawal waits for verification or is refused. M88 account verification: documents and wait times

M88 verifies the account at the first withdrawal and can recheck it at any point. The file is a photo of your ID card or passport plus bank details in your own name.

• Send documents only from inside your account: the upload section if there is one, or the support chat after you log in.
• Never send ID photos over Zalo, Telegram or Facebook to someone claiming to be staff.
• Cover the numbers on the back of a bank card if anyone asks for a photo of it.
• Screenshot what you sent and when, in case you need to raise a complaint.

Promo codes and the welcome offer

None of the guides we found mention a promo code during M88 registration. M88 says the welcome offer is chosen on your first deposit, one per account. For sports betting it is the 125% sports bonus up to 4,288,000 VND.

Anyone selling “VIP codes” or “bonus boost codes” by message is running a scam. The offer's rules are on the bookmaker's promotions page; read them before you deposit.

Once your account is open

• Keep the M88 account username in your password manager rather than a note other people can open.
